About Adrianna
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
I work with clients navigating anxiety, OCD, depression, overthinking, identity exploration, and neurodivergence. As a queer and neurodivergent therapist, I bring understanding of these experiences while offering a supportive space for people of all identities. My style is collaborative and curious, and I take a direct but warm approach in session. I bring genuineness and a sense of humour into the room when it fits, aiming to create a space that feels both grounded and human, where we can make sense of things together without judgment or pressure.
Evidence-Based Therapies
My Approach
My work is grounded in evidence-based therapies like ACT, CBT, and ERP, adapted to fit your individual needs rather than a one-size-fits-all model. Together, we focus on building practical tools for managing the challenges you bring to therapy while also exploring the patterns that keep you feeling stuck. Sessions are collaborative, paced with care, and centered on helping you relate to yourself with more flexibility and self-compassion.
ACT
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps you change your relationship with difficult thoughts and feelings rather than trying to eliminate them. It focuses on staying present, noticing thoughts without getting stuck in them, and taking actions that align with your values, even when difficult emotions show up.
ERP
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is a form of therapy that helps you face feared thoughts or situations while resisting compulsions. Over time, this teaches your brain that the feared outcome is less likely or more manageable than it feels in the moment, reducing anxiety and breaking the cycle of avoidance.
CBT
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps you understand how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. It works by adjusting unhelpful beliefs and building new behaviors that support change. Over time, this helps your brain respond to situations in more flexible, realistic ways.
